STEPHEN PERRIN
Stephen Perrin passed away Fen. 19, 2019, a great man whose shoes no one will ever be able to fill. His knowledge of the National Park and its trails were matched by no one. He will be greatly missed.
I'm sad to hear this. I highly recommend his book "Acadia: The Soul of a National Park" for a meditative approach to hiking in the park. Many of his personal experiences spoke to me as well as I hiked the loops he wrote about. I discovered the book years ago when I was looking for information about the Pothole trail, which he includes in one of his suggested hikes.
